Mnr Kabous Terblanche en sy span van Renucon het my huis verander vanaf iets waarvoor ek half skaam was tot ‘n woning waarop ek trots is. Ek was en is so tevrede met die eerste werk wat aan my huis gedoen is deur Kabous en sy span dat ek slegs deur hom aan my huis laat werk. Terwyl Kabous-hulle aan my huis gewerk het, het ek heeltyd geweet hy is in beheer van alles en ek hoef my nie daaroor te bekommer nie. Ek dink Kabous kry dit reg om ‘n mens se huis tot sy reg te laat kom. En ek beveel hom graag aan vir my vriende asook enige iemand anders wat nuwe lewe in hul huis wil blaas.

Since 2008, Kabous Terblanche from Renucon has assisted me in several renovation, conversion, structural improvement and addition projects to offices, an industrial building and my home. I highly recommend his services. A number of things characterises Kabous and his work. Most importantly, he is absolutely honest and reliable. I always feel that the budget is fair, provides best value for money and my investment is safe. During the several projects done for me he has always stuck to budget and his work was always of the highest quality. Kabous plans well, is very organised and his work is neat. He takes responsibility and assists during all phases of the project starting from the building drawings. Kabous is also always willing to deal with variation requests, sometimes requests which are made by myself at the last minute. I also appreciate the way he tries to understand his clients’ needs and accommodates their style and preferences. Where sub-contractors are required he also manages them very well. He takes great pride in his projects and really does a 100% complete, high quality, neat and tidy job. I never lose sleep when he is managing the project and I highly recommend his services.

Finally I found a building and renovating company that are big enough to produce results but small enough to care for individual home owners. When my wife and I bought a smaller house which we call our retirement home we needed extensive renovations. My wife heard about Kabous Terblanche and Renucon and I arranged for him to visit us for the purpose of giving a quotation for some serious upgrades to our new home. During his first visit I was impressed with the way he actually listened to my ideas and offered advice based on his experience. We accepted his quotation and gave the go-ahead. Right from the beginning we were pleased with the way Renucon operated and I would like to mention some of the facts that impressed me.

1. At all times the premises were kept tidy in that all building materials were covered by sheets of plastic after hours. Building sand was placed on a plastic sheet to protect the paving and bricks stacked neatly.
2. After hours all tools were cleaned and stored neatly in my garage. This was an important point as my house is 1 of 7 in a complex and I did not want to get the neighbour’s upset.
3. Kabous was always willing to discuss ideas that I had and more than prepared to accommodate my request for minor changes as the work proceeded.
4. The work itself was of a high standard and I can truly say I am glad that for the first time in my life I had a builder that met my requirements.
5. As mentioned my house is in a complex and I spoke to the neighbour’s regarding the noise and dust that goes with renovations of this magnitude and both the neighbour’s confirmed that they never heard unnecessary shouting or swearing during the odd 3 weeks of building.

During my final inspection of the completed house I noted that there was not even one cigarette butt to be seen lying around. What a pleasant surprise. I can truly testify that for the first time in my life I used a building company that really had me happy throughout the building/renovating process.
